Expressions of Interest Now Open

We’re excited to share the first creative commission opportunities for Magic of the Tawd, a new cultural programme celebrating Skelmersdale’s heritage, folklore and community creativity. These commissions are planned for 2027–2028 and may be extended over several years, subject to funding.

We’d love to hear from artists, makers, musicians, facilitators and creative practitioners who feel inspired by the Tawd Valley and want to help shape this magical programme. More opportunities will be released soon, so this is just the beginning.
